#38. Highly desirable. Large clasped hands Mexican silver button by William Philip Spratling 1930’s. Back marked: Taxco 930 with Spratling mark near shank. Spratling moved to Mexico in late 1920s, settling at Taxco where he founded a silversmith industry and taught the art to local craftsmen. NBS large (1 1/2”)
