#99. Three lovely Japanese Kutani porcelain buttons in interesting shapes, including a scalloped border of pagoda, tree and waterfall. Kutani ceramics are hand painted by Japanese artists from the Kaga region of Ishikawa Prefecture. They are characterized by the heavy brilliance of the five colors of green, yellow, red, purple, and navy blue that are applied to the bold and daring lines. Late 19th c. - early 20th c.
