#78 Tintype button of a woman with scarf. A tintype is a photograph made by creating a direct positive on a thin sheet of metal coated with a dark lacquer or enamel and used as the support for the photographic emulsion, the subject had to sit unmoving for a very long time during the exposure. Set in metal. Note some wear. NBS Medium. (1 1/4”)
