#13. VERY RARE purple glass Acorn Tingue. Tingues are constructed with a layer of clear colorless glass with a very thin colored glass sheet overlay on top cemented to a glass base with a thin sheet of reflective gold foil or leaf between them. The buttons are faceted to improve reflection. Note tiny chips on edge of top. NBS Small (1/2" x 9/16")
